Catherine Groves

Catherine Elyine Teems Groves passed away at her home on Friday, January 5, 2024 surrounded by her family. Ms. Groves was born in Cairo, Georgia on August 14, 1953, to her parents, William Teems and Irene Allen Teems. She worked for several years in convenience stores. Ms. Groves is survived by her sons, Walter Groves, Jr. and his wife, Holly of Brinson, Georgia and Kenneth Groves and his wife, Suzanne, of Pine Park, Georgia; her daughter, Kimberly Jane Groves of Cairo, Georgia; her brother, Eddie Teems and his wife, Nina, of Cairo, Georgia. She is also survived by her grandchildren Courtney Groves, Karisma Brown, Olivia Groves, Kayla Groves, Kensley Groves, Summer Groves and Nykai Spears; her great- grandchildren Kalani Bell and Delilah Davis as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Gary Teems and William Teems; and her sisters, Joann Teems, Glenda Sadler and Brenda Sadler. No formal services will be held.
