Mrs. Catherine Parker McCullers, 80, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Perry Hospital in Perry, GA. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stephen L. Webb officiating. Mrs. McCullers was born January 16, 1929 in Decatur County, GA, the daughter of Jake Perry Parker and Nellie Elizabeth Ward Parker. She was a graduate of Pine Hill High School, a homemaker, and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin A. McCullers and a granddaughter, Summer Gleaton. Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth M. Stewart and her husband Farley of Opelika, AL, Judy M. Carlisle and her husband David of Perry, GA, and Gloria M. Davis and her husband Jerry of Bainbridge, GA; her son Edwin McCullers and his wife Linda of Bainbridge, GA; six grandchildren, Cathy Wiggins, Susan Pecci, Jay Gleaton, Jeff Gleaton, Becky Guest, and Mary Ann Parsons; and 14 great-grandchildren, Tamra Wiggins, Josey Wiggins, Stewart Wiggins, Catherine Wiggins, Grace Pecci, Annie Pecci, Lora Beth Pecci, Chase Gleaton, Mitchell Gleaton, Stevie Burnette, Emma Gleaton, Kaitlyn Cole, Jackson Guest, and Haley Parsons.
