Catherine Woodard

Catherine Jeanette Woodard, 92, of Iron City, GA died on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at her home. Born on February 2, 1929 to William and Annie Pearl Powell Lowery in Dodge County, Georgia, she married Hansol Franklin Woodard on May 3. 1957, in Eastman, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Survivors include her daughters, Kathie Walden (Jimmy) and Sharon Head (Bob); grandchildren, James Walden (Rebecca), Ricky Walden, Joshua Head (Hadyn), and Stephanie Newsome (Jamell); three great children, Katelyn, Emma, and Colton; a sister, Stella Erwin; a brother, Walton Lowery; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4th, 2021 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Bay Harbor Church of God. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM with Reverend John Harris and Reverend Jimmy Walden officiating. Entombment will take place at Brunswick Memorial Park. Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is honored to handle the arrangements.
