Charles Rowe

Charles R. Rowe, 65, of Ft. McCoy, FL passed away Friday, November 25, 2011. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Medley officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Cemetery with Bill Coons, Tommy Williamson, Paul Howard, Kendall Howard and Robert Ames serving as active pallbearers. Mr. Rowe was born February 26, 1946 in Homestead, FL, the son of William Hugh Rowe and Roba Paulette Matthews Rowe. He was a graduate of South Dade High School, Class of 1964, and earned an undergraduate and a Jurist Doctor degree from the University of Florida. Mr. Rowe was an attorney with a practice in Homestead, FL. He was a member of the Rotary Club in Homestead, FL, the Elks Club in Ocala, FL, and served in the United States Navy Reserves. Survivors include his daughters, Carey Ann Rowe of Melbourne, FL and Roba Paulette Rowe of Lexington, KY; his son, William Hugh Rowe of Tallahassee, FL; his stepsons, Keith Brandies of Ocala, FL, and Mark Brandies of Ocala, FL; his sisters, Paulette Coons of Kingwood, TX, Marilyn Sellars of Tallahassee, FL, Daphne Caldwell of Florence, SC, and Wisteria Jenkins of Seattle, WA; and his brother, John Rowe of Bell, FL. Mr. Rowe was preceded in death by his wife Libby Alderman Rowe.
