Charles Walley

Mr. Charles F. Walley, 80, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Bainbridge Health Care. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Interment will follow at West Bainbridge Cemetery. Mr. Walley was born February 6, 1928 in Fulton, MS, the son of Charles Dewey Walley and Mary Lillian Simpson Walley. He served in the U.S. Army and was a retired automobile mechanic. He was a member of West Bainbridge Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ava Clark Walley of Bainbridge, GA; a daughter, Patty Anne Johnson of Joliet, IL; two sons, Charles Lee Walley of Moultrie, GA and Larry Williams of Albany, GA; a brother, Junior Lee Walley of Wisconsin; a sister, Ovalene Hunkepillar of Willacoochee, GA; and two grandchildren.
