Charlie Comerford

Charlie "C. E." Comerford, 66, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2010 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Harold King officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Chris Hill, Chris Hill, Jr., Paul Patel, Phil Hatton, Phillip Hatton and Edward Comerford serving as active pallbearers. E. was born February 22, 1944 in Bainbridge, GA, the son of E. E. Comerford and Nellie King Comerford. He was in the retail grocery business for most of his life, and served as assistant manager for Herring's IGA for many years. He was a member of Bainbridge Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his sister, Louvinia C. Freeman. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Ruby Rabon Comerford of Bainbridge, GA; his son, Mitchell E. Comerford and his wife Renee of Brinson, GA; his daughter, Rhonda C. Talley and her husband Joe of Bainbridge, GA; his brother, Eddie Lee Comerford of Ochlocknee, GA; and two grandchildren, Edward Comerford and Elizabeth Talley.
