Charlie Mills

Mr. Charlie Wilburn Mills, III, age 52, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, Georgia. A service will be held in his honor at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2020, in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. Charlie Wilburn Mills, III was born July 9,1967 in Cairo, Georgia. His parents, Charlie W. Mills, Jr. and Mary Ruth Spivey Carr, have preceded him in death. Mr. Mills worked in construction. Charlie would be described as a free spirit. He did things "his way" . Charlie dearly loved his family and loved God. Charlie Mills is survived by his siblings, Rena Cosby (Jerry) of Abbeville, Alabama, Marie Perkins of Oak Harbor, Washington, Doris Carmichael of East Point, Florida, Daniel Mills (Sherry) of Bainbridge, Georgia, Patricia Lewis (Lee) of Lake City, Florida, and Charlotte Welch of Bainbridge, Georgia; his uncle, Albert Spivey of Tallahassee, Florida, and aunt, Shirley Cofer of Thomasville, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jerry Mills, and sister, Mary Sherrer.
