Charlotte Williamson

Charlotte Haire Williamson, 80, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Bay Medical Center in Panama City, FL. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2010 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Stephen L. Webb officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 101 W. Water St., Bainbridge, GA 39817. Charlotte was born September 22, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of Brady M. Haire and Mildred Wright Haire. She was a graduate of North Fulton High School and attended North Georgia College. She was a bookkeeper for Flint River Mills for 28 years and a member of First United Methodist Church in Bainbridge. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana W. Blackmon. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Jack William Williamson of Bainbridge, GA; her son, Billy Williamson and his wife Alison of Bainbridge, GA; her daughters, Jackie W. Lee and her husband Ben of St. Simons Island, GA, Becky Griffin and her husband Stuart of Bainbridge, GA, and Charla Williamson of Bainbridge, GA; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
