Cheryl Whatley Ellison, 48, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, February 12, 2010 at Palmyra Medical Center. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2010 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Davidson officiating. Interment will follow at Blakely Cemetery. Cheryl was born October 3, 1961 in Sanford, FL, the daughter of Thomas Floyd Whatley, Jr. and Bonnie Churchwell Whatley. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by two brothers, William Whatley and Matthew Whatley. Survivors include two daughters, Maranda Hester and her husband Allen of Climax, GA and Hannah Smith of Bainbridge, GA; one brother, Thomas Whatley, III and his wife Michelle of Bainbridge, GA; two sisters, Paula Inlow and her husband Vincent of Bainbridge, GA and Tammy Whatley of Tallahassee, FL; her parents, Tom and Bonnie Whatley of Bainbridge, GA; and five grandchildren, Joshua Hester, Maryann Hester, Nicole Hester, Harley Donalson and Hallie Donalson.
