Christine Bolger

November 24, 1919 — January 7, 2010

Christine Bolger died in Lenox, Massachusetts where she had been living with her daughter for the past three and a half years. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Bainbridge with Rev. Bruce McCracken officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery. She was born and grew up in Bainbridge the daughter of Freeman and Verna Mae Dixon Palmer. She had one sister, Grace McIntyre and one brother, Eugene Palmer who are both deceased. During her married life, she lived in New Jersey, but returned to live in Bainbridge after the death of her husband, Richard L. Bolger in 1990. She was a homemaker and leaves behind five children: Martha Peskin, Carol Sorrentino, Thomas Bolger, Robert Bolger and David Bolger; three daughters-in-law: Joy, Sharon and Kate Bolger; and one son-in-law Frank Sorrentino. She was blessed with many grandchildren: Nicole and Rachel Peskin; Glen, Lisa and Beth Sorrentino; Brian, Timothy, Kevin and Melissa Bolger; Elaine and Brendan Bolger, and Sara and Carrie Bolger. Her Great-Grandchildren are: Dylan, Natalie, Jacob and Julia Wassinger; Kayla and Kelsey Bolger; Hannah Bolger; and Craig and Laura Van Dam.
