Christine Bullock

Christine Day Bullock, 74, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Jeff Stapleton officiating. Interment will follow at Mr. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with Waylon Day, Kevin Bullock, Monty Bullock, Stephen Day, Nathan Craft and Tony White serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Bullock was born August 12, 1935 in Decatur County, GA, the daughter of Thomas Riley Day and Etta Harrell Day. She was a retired secretary for Decatur County Sheriff's Office and a member of First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Othan Bullock, a son, Michael Othan Bullock, and a daughter, Teresa B. Bellflower. Survivors include a son, James A. Bullock of Bainbridge, GA; two daughters, Debby Cherry and her husband Doug of Bainbridge, GA and Tammy Faircloth and her husband Wes of Colquitt, GA; a brother, Richard Day of Palm Harbor, FL; a sister, Lorine D. Craft of Palm Harbor, FL; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
