Christine Freeman

Christine Shirley Simms Freeman, 74, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at her residence. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Freeman was born in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Fred Simms and Norma Otto Simms. She married Dewert "Tall"/"Delbert" Freeman and lived in the Bainbridge Community for over 40 years. Shirley loved her family and friends. This was evident in one of her favorite pastimes, socializing. She enjoyed art and expressed her talents through painting and drawing. Shirley was a member at Solid Rock Church in Bainbridge. Survivors include her children, Wayne Freeman of Bainbridge, GA; Donna Lott of Panama City, Florida; Anna Cloud and her husband, George, of Brinson, GA; Norma Kearns and her fiancé, Lamar, of Cairo, GA; Henry Freeman and his wife, Cindy, of Brinson, GA; Christine Freeman and her husband, Manuel, of Bainbridge, GA; her sister, Norma Smith and her husband, Ronnie, of Vero Beach, Florida, her 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dewert Freeman and her grandson, Lee Lott.
