Cindy JunkinsMay 12, 1953 - March 19, 2023 Cindy Junkins, age 69, of Sylvester, Georgia, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with James Scarborough officiating. Interment will follow at Greenshade Cemetery. Cindy was born May 12, 1953 in Bainbridge, Georgia the daughter of Rudy Wells and Edna Olivent Wells. She worked at NAPA and Honda in Albany for over ten years each. Cindy loved reading, the beach, and her family. She was a wonderful Nana to her grandchildren. Cindy fought a long hard battle with Diabetes. Survivors include her husband of 34 years, James Thomas Junkins; son, Ryan Laughridge (Leslie) of Kings Mountain, NC; stepson, Danny Junkins (Sharon) of Tallahassee, FL; stepdaughters, Tina Junkins and Karen Odom of Albany, GA; siblings, Janelle Winter (Greg Russell), Marcia Cumbie (Stan), and Glenn Wells (Diana); grandchildren, Bella Laughridge, Alex Laughridge, and James Stafford Junkins; friend of the family, Vernon Riley; and a host of extended family. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Jason Laughridge. The Junkins family has entrusted the arrangements to Ivey Funeral Home, 502 S. Scott Street, Bainbridge, GA 39819.
