Clara Georgieff

Clara Carlene (Phillips) Georgieff, age 61, of Tallahassee, FL, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines. "Carla" was born on September 14, 1960 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Gwendell May Dollar and James Edwin Phillips.  She was an accountant with the State of Florida for 31.5 years.  She loved cooking, crafting, puzzles, hosting Halloween hayrides and Thanksgiving dinner for family and friends.  Her house was an open door.  She loved her dogs and animals. Survivors include her husband, James Georgieff of Tallahassee, FL; children, Chris Henderson of Tallahassee, FL and Derek Henderson (Danielle) of Tampa, FL; and siblings, Tim Phillips of Tallahassee, FL and John Phillips of Tallahassee, FL. Carla was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Eddie Phillips.
