Clara Stedtefeld

Memorial Services for Mrs. Clara Belle King Stedtefeld, 93, of Bainbridge, GA will be held at a later date at the First Christian Church in Paintsville, KY with Rev. Wesley D. Stedtefeld officiating. Interment will be in Highlands Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Stedtefeld went home to be with the Lord on December 30, 2009 at Bainbridge Health Care. She was born on September 17, 1916 to the now late Thomas A. and Margaret Smith King in Buchanan, VA. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Bainbridge, GA and a lifetime member of the Daughters of America. She was a retired Department Supervisor at Burdines Dept. Store in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Mrs. Stedtefeld is survived by two sons, Dennis (Jerry) Stedtefeld of Powder Springs, GA and Wesley (Trish) Stedtefeld former minister of the First Christian Church in Bainbridge and current minister of the First Christian Church in Paintsville, KY, one sister, Ann Carter of Bethel, OH, ten grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Stedtefeld was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 60 years Earl E. Stedtefeld; brothers, Clyde King, Willis King, and Wesley King; sisters, Eunice Donald and Margaret Lovings; and a grandson Michael Stedtefeld.
