Cleo Fort

Cleo Fort, age 73, of Cairo, Georgia, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023, at her home surrounded by family. Services for Mrs. Fort will be held in Homasassa Springs, Florida, where she will join her husband in Stage Stand Cemetery. Cleo was born August 8, 1949, in Largo, Florida to Charles Ward and Theda Mae Allen Ward. She married the love of her life, Terrill Alton Fort. She and Terrill shared 57 years together. They raised 2 daughters and a son. Cleo worked in the office of the Citrus County Road Department until her retirement. A loving mother and wife, she will be deeply missed. Cleo Fort is survived by her daughters, Carol Moon and Vickie Quigley. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Christopher. Cox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
