Clifford Scott (Scotty) Ulmer died Friday, June 24, 2011, at hishome in Cairo, Georgia. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 27, 2011, at Eastside Baptist Church in Cairo, Georgia. The Rev. Dr. Paul Jones will be officiating. The family will receive friends at the close of the service. Scotty was born in Cairo, Georgia, December 20, 1959, to William Clifford and Melba Finch Ulmer. He was employed as a propagation manager at Monrovia Growers; where he had worked for 32 years. Scotty was an avid hunter and fisherman. Scotty is survived by his mother, Melba Ulmer of Cairo; daughters and son-in-laws: Nicole and Jason Harvard of Thomasville, Alisha and Josh Gainous of Cairo, and Ferrahn and Michael Godwin of Thomasville; sister: Sereese Ulmer of Cairo; grandchildren: Zack and Emma Harvard, Madison Gainous, and Faith and Will Godwin; niece: Brittany Kelley of Cairo; and great nephew, Colton Kelley.
