Clyde Eugene "Gene" White, 75, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, April 17, 2009 at Bainbridge Healthcare. The graveside funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery near Climax, GA with Dr. Danny Shepard officiating. Gene was born August 3, 1933 in Decatur County, GA, the son of Bomer E. White and Etta Mobley White. He graduated from Climax High School and was a retired sales representative. Survivors include his daughter, Celia New and her husband Darrell of Houma, LA; his son, Clyde Eugene White, Jr. and his wife, Christina of Climax, GA; his sister, Pat W. Martin and her husband Jimmie of Bainbridge, GA; 5 grandchildren, Lance White, Shon White, Leslie Naquin, Shane Pearson, and Jamie New; and 4 great-grandchildren.
