Courtney Edmonds Singletary, 34, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Mr. Matt Bracewell officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Adam Rentz, Ryan Bare, Lucas Rentz, Erik Merritt, Aaron Hall, and Tyler Griner serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2011 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 1323 East Shotwell Street, Bainbridge, GA 39817. Courtney was born July 16, 1977 in Thomasville, GA. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1995, and attended Bainbridge College. Courtney enjoyed cooking, baking and decorating cakes for all occasions. She was a devoted mother and wife who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Kyle Singletary of Bainbridge, GA; her son, Austin Hall of Bainbridge, GA; her daughter, Topanga Hall of Bainbridge, GA; her father, Tom Edmonds of Fort Dix, New Jersey; her mother, Rhonda Rentz Murphy and her husband, Donnie, of Bainbridge, GA; her brother, Lee Edmonds and his wife, Stephanie, of Monterey, CA; her nieces and nephew, Addy, Zoey, Lindsey, Laura, Hannah, and Tyler; her maternal grandparents, Sonny & Betty Rentz of Bainbridge, GA; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
