Howard Craig Flowers, 66, of Jasper, GA, passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at Emory University Hospital Midtown. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Attapulgus Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Mock and Mr. Marty Durden officiating. Interment will follow at Attapulgus Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cagle Funeral Home in Jasper, GA. Craig was born November 14, 1943 in Maybank, TX, the son of Bill and Johnnie Mae Booth Flowers. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Jasper where he served in the Children's Ministry. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Cheryl Holt Flowers of Jasper, GA; two sons, Christopher Gregory Flowers of Tallahassee, FL and Christian Scott Flowers of Tallahassee, FL; and his daughter, Tammy Dawn Flowers of Merritt Island, FL.
