Mr. Cuy Mack Willis, age 78, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012, at his home in Whigham, Georgia. Services for Mr. Willis will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 2, 2012, graveside at Greenwood Cemetery in Cairo, Georgia. Mr. Ken Walden will be officiating. Jesse Carter, Marcus Pearce, Jerry Pearce, Ronald Johnson, Wayne Johnson, Elwood Allen, Ferrell Siler, Mark Paytee, Josh King, and Ral Bearden will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 4:00-6:00 p.m., Saturday, at Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Cuy Mack Willis was born October 12, 1934 in Grady County, Georgia, to Mack Willis and Mary Ellen Truell Willis. On November 21, 1953, he married Nettie Sue Clayton. Cuy worked as a firefighter; retiring from the Cairo Fire Department. He was a member of El Bethel Baptist Church. Cuy loved to fish and ride the 4-wheeler. He loved to work as a handyman and planting his garden. Cuy Willis is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nittie Sue Clayton Willis; his daughter, LaRonda Hartsfield and husband, Lee; grandson, Allen Hartsfield, all of Whigham; sisters and brothers, Virginia Smith and husband, Frank of Franklin, North Carolina, Leta Davis of Ft. Myers, Florida, Patty Vickers and husband, Kenny of Tallahassee, Florida, Virginia Davis of Tallahassee, and David Davis of Tallahassee.
