Dalvin Logue

November 18, 1931 — May 31, 2026

Bainbridge

Mr. Dalvin Clifton Logue, age 94, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026, in Bainbridge, Georgia. The family will have a private viewing. Mr. Logue will be interred beside his wife in Roselawn Memory Gardens.

Dalvin Clifton Logue was born November 18, 1931, in Cairo, Georgia, to Marvin Logue and Jessie Mills Logue. He married Mollie Freeman Bruce Logue, the love of his life. They were married for 65 years, and he has deeply missed his sweet wife every day since her death. He served in the United States Air Force. Dalvin worked, until his retirement, for Miller Hydro/Lynch Systems as a Receiving Manager. He was a farmer at heart. He loved to plant large vegetable gardens and send his sons to tend them. Peas, beans, corn, chickens, turkeys, goats, you name it and he raised it. Old tractors were his passion. In the Bible, Matthew 3:10 says, ”And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore, every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” That explains why he cut down every tree on his property. Dalvin is a member of Living Church of God. Dalvin Logue will be sorely missed by the family that he loved so much.

Mr. Logue is survived by his children, Ronald Logue (Joanie) of Bainbridge and Peggy West of Tallahassee, Florida; grandchildren, Michael Logue (Heidi), Megan Logue Rice, Kevin West, Rachel West, Kelly Newman (Reed), Jason Logue, and Ethan Logue (Becca); great grandchildren, Madison, Sara Beth, Zoe, Olivia, Vivian, Linsey, Brittney, Liam, and Clarice; 4 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Glenn Logue, and son-in-law, Doug West.
