Mr. Daniel Andrew Barnard, 59, passed away March 24, 2007 at his residence in Bainbridge, GA. The funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at the Barnard Farm, 2785 Colquitt Highway (US 27), at the Decatur-Miller County Line, with Rev. Charles Barrineau officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Carroll Middleton, Randall Fisher, Barry Reynolds, Clay Alday, Jeremy Freiberger, Hilton Grow, Walter Spooner, and Corey Wells serving as active pallbearers. Mr. Barnard was born January 29, 1948, in Hahira, GA, to the late Andrew Jackson Barnard and Eula Mae Foster Barnard. He graduated from Lowndes County High School, and was the owner of Mr. Pipps convenience stores. He was preceded in death by a sister, Gail Barnard Hutto. Survivors include his daughter, Danielle A. Barnard of Bainbridge, GA; his son, Daniel A. Barnard, Jr. of Bainbridge, GA; four brothers, Russell Barnard, Ronnie Barnard, and Gary Barnard, all of Valdosta, GA, and Roger Barnard of Donalsonville, GA; a sister, Patricia B. Hopkins of Valdosta, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
