Danny Avery

Memorial services for Danny Avery, age 52 of Augusta (formerly of Bainbridge) will be held Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Cox - Ware Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Harrell officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Cox - Ware Funeral Home. Mr. Avery was born in Decatur County, GA May 28, 1957 the son of the now late Calvin Sizemore and Leola Parish Sizemore Avery. He attended Bainbridge High School and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Avery moved to Augusta in 1996 and enjoyed writing songs and poetry, spending time with family and making people laugh. He is survived by four brothers: John Sizemore of Bainbridge, Tim Avery of Brinson, Matt Avery of Colquitt and Tommy Avery and wife Donna of Bainbridge and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Cathy Cooper and Brenda Moncrief.
