David Hand

Mr. David Gardener Hand, age 65, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016, at his home in Bainbridge, Georgia. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2016, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. The Rev. David Grubbs will officiate. David Gardener Hand was born July 31, 1950 in Huntsville, Alabama. His parents, Homer G. Hand and Jewel L. Smith Hand have both preceded him in death. David proudly served in the United States Army. He was a veteran of the War in Viet Nam. He moved to the Bainbridge area about 12 years ago from Calhoun County, Alabama. David loved fishing and hunting. He enjoyed being outside and cooking outside. David was crazy about his grandchildren. David Hand is survived by his son, David Bo Kent and wife, Amy and grandchildren, David Luke Kent and Elisabeth Kent. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Ann Hand and sister, Cindy Hand.
