David Scott

David F. Scott, 63, of Olongapo City, Phillippines (formerly of Bainbridge, GA), passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. DeWitt Phillips officiating. Interment will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery. David was born January 6, 1947 in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Clinton Elijah Scott and Katie Lee Josey Scott. He was a graduate of Climax High School, Class of 1966, and of the LPN School at Bainbridge College. He retired with 20 years of service in the U. S. Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Memorial Hospital for many years before moving to Olongapo City, Phillippines four years ago. Survivors include his brothers, James Scott and his wife Elsie of Slippery Rock, PA, and Robert Scott and his wife Pat of Hampton, NH; and his sister, Joyce S. Galpin and her husband Andy of Bainbridge, GA.
