Deborah Ann (Debbie) Heath, age 65, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida. Services for Mrs. Heath will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, August 24, in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. Rev. James Scarborough will officiate. A private interment will be held in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Deborah Ann Heath was born February 13, 1957, in Brooklyn, New York. Her parents, Irvin Richard Broadhurst and Alice E. Ulmer Broadhurst, have preceded her in death. She married Russell Heath. For 42 years Debbie has shared her life with Russell. For 24 years she worked in the lunchroom for the Decatur County School System. She loved the work because she loved the children. To Debbie, food was a way of sharing love. Debbie was so proud of her children and grandchildren. She doted and loved on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren every opportunity she had. Debbie loved to play darts and horseshoes and was very good at both. She was a member of Southwest Baptist Church. She loved traditional county music, especially George Straight. Her family was her life. Debbie will be deeply missed by her family and many friends. Deborah Ann Heath is survived by her husband, Richard Russell Heath of Bainbridge, Georgia; children, Malisa Sanders of Salt Lake City, Utah, Jeremy Hower of Waukegan, Illinois, Michael Hower of Donalsonville, Georgia, and Heather Davis of Colquitt, Georgia; grandchildren, Sean Harry, Brandon Hower, Troy Hower, Heven Davis, Angel Davis, and Josh Davis; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
