Deborah Johnson

Deborah (Debbie) Ann Poitevint Johnson, age 59, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia. A memorial service will be held in her honor at a later date. Deborah (Debbie) Ann Poitevint was born January 29, 1961 in Pelham, Georgia. She has lived in Bainbridge, Georgia most of her life. Her parents, James Poitevint and Frances Taylor Poitevint have preceded her in death. Debbie was married to Mark Thomas Johnson. She and Mark have been together for 26 years. Debbie was a generous, loving person. She served her family and others selflessly. She was strong in her nature and overcame any obstacle in her way through her faith in Christ. She was a great wife, wonderful mother and gracious lady. She would say, "I want me some Jesus" . Well, now, she is "getting her some Jesus" . Deborah Johnson is survived by her husband, Mark Johnson of Bainbridge and daughters, Chasity Owens (Jimmy Bryson) of Bainbridge and Heather Artz (Jason Artz) of Thomasville, Georgia. She has one brother, Greg Cone; grandchildren, Katie (John), Bubba (Kayla), My-Lesha (Colby), Tyziah, Jeremiah, Angel, Paige, Trinity, Aidan, and Noah; great-grandchildren, Highlie, Addison, Elisity, and Hollie; and her cousin, Dianne Mock.
