Deborah IAnn Parker, 59, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Newton Cranford officiating. Interment will follow at West Bainbridge Cemetery with Martin Castro, Allen Gunn, Jared Humphrey, Cliff Bennett, Chuck Lizotte, Chris Jackson, Austin Cook and Daniel Humphrey serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Parker was born December 14, 1949 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Ralph Powell, Sr. and the late Mary Katherine Gardner Powell. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, worked with Memorial Manor for over twenty-three years as a Licensed Practical Nurse and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Perry Parker, Sr., her daughter, Sandra Lee Parker and her grandson, Cantley Perry Cook. Survivors include her son, Marvin P. Parker, Jr. of Bainbridge, GA; her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Cook and her husband Jeriet of Bainbridge, GA; her father, Ralph Powell, Sr. of Brinson, GA; two brothers, Edwin Powell and his wife Janice of Donalsonville, GA and Ralph Powell, Jr. of Brinson, GA; nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Kaitlyn, Devin, Jeriet, Brittany, Nathaniel, Arthur and Austin; and one great-granddaughter, Mackenzie.
