Denice Harrison

Denise Irene Glisson Harrison, age 63, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. at Capital Regional Medical Center. Services for Mrs. Harrison will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2015, at Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Stanley Phillips will be officiating. Chris Zarker, Rolando Hernandez, Kenneth Green, Jr. Hilton, Randy Love and Bryan Smith will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Denise was born March 10, 1951 in Edison, Georgia to James Lewis Glisson and Martha Fellows Glisson. She spent most of her life in Tallahassee. Denise worked at A.C.S. in medical billing. She is of the Baptist faith. Denise loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to read her Bible. Mrs. Harrison enjoyed gardening and hummingbirds. She was crazy about her dog, Lilly. Denise Harrison is survived by her children, Angela Hernandez and husband, Rolando of Miami, Florida, Amanda Johnson and Chris Zarker of Tallahassee, Florida, and Kevin Harrison and wife, Jeri of Tallahassee; brother, Jimmy Glisson and wife, Kathy of Bainbridge, Georgia; sister, Phyllis Ingham of Thomasville, Georgia; grandchildren, Gage Hernandez, Stephanie Hernandez, Selena Cruz, Layla Johnson, Alivia Johnson, Kara Johnson, London Blu Harrison and Dakota Gordon.
