Shirley Dianne Alday Kirkland, 60, of Brinson, GA., passed away Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Seminole Manor in Donalsonville, GA. The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2007 at Calvary Assembly of God in Brinson, GA. with Rev. James Scarborough and Rev. Ryan Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Assembly of God Cemetery with Jay King, Perry Miller and Joey Earnest serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Kirkland was born December 5, 1946 in Bainbridge, GA. She graduated from Seminole County High School in 1965, and was a Drivers License Examiner for the Georgia Department Of Public Safety. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Brinson, GA. Her Husband of 40 years, William Kirkland; two daughters, Denise Smiley of Ray City, GA, and Karen Kirkland of Brinson, GA; a son, Michael Kirkland and wife Katina of Iron City, GA; her parents, Roscoe L. and Allean E. Alday of Reynoldsville, GA; a sister, Linda A. King of Bainbridge, GA; 7 grandchildren, Stephanie Kirkland, Jessica Dunlap, Rachel Smiley, Joseph Mash, Megan Mash, Gracen Kirkland and Landon Kirkland; 1 great grandchild, AddaLynn D. Kirkland; and several nieces and nephews.
