Don Sidener

Don H. Sidener, 81, of Jasper, GA, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Halcyon Hospice in Atlanta, GA. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Roper Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper, GA. Interment will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Bainbridge, GA. Mr. Sidener was born May 24, 1932 in Jackson, MS, the son of Harry C. Sidener and Ruby Hagar Sidener. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and earned his Juris Doctor degree at Emory University School of Law in 1957. He practiced law in College Park, GA until his retirement and moved to Jasper, GA in 1999. Don was a member of College Park United Methodist Church and the State Bar of Georgia. Survivors include his children, Paul Sidener of College Park, GA and Rebecca Sidener of Norcross, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Carl F. Sidener.
