Donald "Red" Crews, 73, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Memorial Manor. The graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Masonic Graveside Rites by Orion Lodge #8 F&AM. His sons will be active pallbearers. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 3, 2008 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mr. Crews was born November 19, 1935 in Pierce County, GA, the son of Randall Clifton Crews and Ellie Odessa Moore Crews. He was a truck driver in the transporation business and a member of First Baptist Church. He was a member of the Bainbridge Shrine, Orion Lodge #8 F&AM and Hasan Shrine Temple. Survivors include four sons, Jeff Crews of Reynoldsville, GA, Randy Crews of Bainbridge, GA, Dan Crews of Bainbridge, GA and Max Crews of Reynoldsville, GA; one sister, Darcus Leathers of Waycross, GA; seven grandchildren, Mindy Tomberlin, Derrick Crews, Heather Crews, Gage Crews, Chelcee Crews, John Crews and Kate Crews; and two great-grandchildren, Kaleb Crews and Mayce Tomberlin.
