Donald Grubbs

Mr. Donald W. Grubbs, Sr., age 63, passed away Friday, December 20, 2013, in Bainbridge, Georgia. Services for Mr. Grubbs will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 22, 2013, graveside at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Rev. David Grubbs will be officiating. Donald W. Grubbs was born July 8, 1950 in Colquitt, Georgia, to Joe Brown Grubbs, Sr. and Mattie Mae Lewis Grubbs-Cato. Donald served in the U. S. Army. He worked as a car salesman. His daughter described him as a good daddy, who did his best. Donald W. Grubbs, Sr. is survived by his children, Michelle Jones and husband, James of Clayton, North Carolina, Donna Wright and husband, Michael of Brooklet, Georgia, Thomas Grubbs and wife, Denise of Bainbridge, and Donald Grubbs, Jr. and wife, Kelly of Bainbridge; sisters and brothers, Mary Williams and husband, Henry of Blakely, Georgia, Debra Mills and husband, Herman of Climax, Georgia, Rita Furney and husband, Rawleigh of Eldorendo, Georgia, Marion Grubbs and wife, Lennis of Eldorendo, Bobby Grubbs and wife, Jane of Eldorendo, Jacky Grubbs and wife, Diane of Eldorendo, David Grubbs and wife, Linda of Attapulgus, Georgia and Joe Grubbs of Eldorendo; 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
