Doris Davis

Doris Pauline Davis, 71, of Climax, GA, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014 at her residence after a lengthy illness. The family appreciates your support, but would like privacy at this time. There are no funeral services planned. Mrs. Doris was born in New Smyrna, FL on May 08, 1943. A gifted artist, she enjoyed painting nature scenes. She had a strong love of family and always put them first. She is survived by Art Davis, her husband of nearly 50 years; her sons, Jack and his wife, Joy, of Climax, GA, and Jim and his wife, Teresa, of Bainbridge, GA; her sister, Maryann Melon and her husband, Jim, of South Carolina; and her grandchildren, Jordan, Jared, and Tyler Davis. Mrs. Davis was predeceased by her parents Paul and Lizzie Mae Loftin Setney.
