Doris Dollar Harrell, 89, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2011 at Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Walter Todd and Rev. Lynn Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with her grandsons, Brian Harrell, Stevens Culverson and Carson Inlow, and her nephews, John Wayne Harrell, Winfred Harrell, Myron Harrell, James Harrell, Richard Dean, and Byrl Harrell serving as active pallbearers. Shotwell St., Bainbridge, GA 39819. Mrs. Harrell was born July 18, 1921 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Robert Anderson Dollar and Agnes Greene Dollar. She was a graduate of Climax High School, Class of 1938, attended Norman Park College, and graduated from Georgia State College for Women. Mrs. Harrell retired with 30 years of service as a teacher with the Decatur County School System, was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, and a member of Salem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brother, John R. Dollar. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Robert L. Harrell of Bainbridge, GA; her sons, Danny Harrell and his wife, Bonnie, of Bainbridge, GA and David Harrell of Atlanta, GA; her daughters, Jan Culverson and her husband, Steve, of Bainbridge, GA and LeAnn Inlow and her husband, Billy, of Bainbridge, GA; her sister, Katherine Hopkins of Falls Church, VA; her five grandchildren, Brian Harrell, Ansley Livingston, Stevens Culverson, Claire Culverson, and Carson Inlow; and her five great-grandchildren, Kegan, Tristan, Draiha, Cayden, and Dylan June.
