Doris Tatum Hill, 85, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Shields officiating. Interment will be at Oak City Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Ivey Funeral Home. Box 155, Bainbridge, GA 39818.Doris Joan Tatum was born July 28, 1931 in Moultrie, GA the daughter of Herman Tatum and Lucine Frazier Tatum. She was a graduate of Pelham High School and was a teller and later a Customer Service Supervisor at First State National Bank, which later became Park Avenue Bank. Doris was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital and was a member of First Baptist Church and the Lydia Sunday School Class.Survivors include her sons, Joey Hill of Watkinsville, GA and Ronnie Hill of Lexington Park, MD; her brother, Jack Tatum of Rocky Mount, NC; her grandchildren, Holly Hill Floyd (Stephen), Ansley L. Hill, and Kaylin Hill Pannell (Ryan); and her great-grandsons, Judah Hill Floyd and Levi Michael Floyd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe H. Hill.
