Dorothy Cloud

Dorothy Nell (Dot) Cloud, 71, of Brinson, GA., passed away Saturday, January 1st, at her residence. Services will be held at Cox-Ware Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, with Rev. DeWitt Phillips and Rev. Newton Cranford officiating. Interment at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Cox-Ware Funeral Home. Dorothy was born in Decatur County, Georgia on October 1, 1939, a daughter of the late Hazel Nora (Brock) and Bert Kennedy. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Dorothy is survived by five daughters, Debra Knight and Ronnie, of Blakely, Georgia; Sandra DeLeon and Richard, of Brinson, Georgia; Wanda McMillian, of Tampa, Florida; Alice Cloud and Lupe, of Colquitt, Georgia; Betty Day and Travis, of Bainbridge, Georgia; and a son,George Cloud and Anna, of Brinson, Georgia. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Cloud; son, DeWitt Cloud; brother, Edward Kennedy; and sisters, Alma Ezell and Carolyn West. Cox-Ware Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
