Dorothy Nichols Craddock, 79, of Bainbridge, GA, and formerly of Jacksonville, FL and Mexico Beach, FL, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Memorial Hospital. The graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Roy Matthews officiating. Mrs. Craddock was born October 7, 1932 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Arthur Earley Nichols and Mozell Phillips Nichols. She was a graduate of West Bainbridge High School, Class of 1950 and was a dedicated real estate agent, serving the Mexico Beach community for over 15 years before retiring. Mrs. Craddock was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Survivors include her brothers, Earl Nichols of Bainbridge, GA, Bill Nichols and his wife, Judi, of Bainbridge, GA; her sister, Faye Nichols of Tallahassee, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Craddock was preceded in death by her husbands, Gene Phillips and Tom Craddock; and her son, Richard Phillips.
