Dorothy Fleming

Mrs. Dorothy Nix Fleming, 78, of Attapulgus, GA, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Attapulgus Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Bishop and Rev. Terry Elixson officiating. Interment will follow at Attapulgus Baptist Church Cemetery with Ted Martin, Joe Hartzog, Keith Medley, Bobby Snellgrove, Larry Kennedy and Johnny Medley serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Fleming was born June 9, 1929 in Decatur County, GA, the daughter of Levi Nix and Mattie Earnest Nix. She was a sales representative for Gulf Life Insurance Company and was a former manager of Five Star Credit Union. Mrs. Fleming was a member of Attapulgus Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the choir.
