Dorothy Jackson

Mrs. Dorothy Britt Jackson, age 73, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018, at Memorial Manor Nursing Home, Bainbridge, Georgia. No formal services will be held. Dorothy Britt was born January 9, 1945 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Her parents, Walter Britt and Marjorie Williams Britt, have both preceded her in death. In 1963 she married her beloved husband, J. Paul Jackson. Dorothy enjoyed her job in healthcare. She worked as a C.N.A. for over 40 years. Dorothy was an avid reader. She enjoyed camping and fishing. Family was important to Dorothy. She loved to play board games with her family. The flowers in her yard brought her hours of enjoyment. Dorothy Jackson will be deeply missed by the family she loved so very much. Dorothy Britt Jackson is survived by her husband of 55 years, J. Paul Jackson of Climax, Georgia; children, Jerry Phillip Jackson, wife, Gina of Temple, Georgia and Nancy Phyllis Jackson King, husband, William of Lake Seminole, Georgia; grandchildren, Donna Dotson, Amber Jackson, Tayler Hindmon, Memphis Hindmon, William King, Jr., and Tiffany King; and great-grandchildren, Drew Dotson, Jayda Dotson, and Jackson Dotson.
