Dorsey Rose

Mr. Dorsey Lee Rose, age 82, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018, in Bainbridge, Georgia. Dorsey was born in Kokomo, Indiana to Dorsey Lenix and Emma (Bagley) Rose. He married Roberta Ellen Oliver in 1957. Dorsey was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother, Tom (Vada) Baker, sister, Norma (Jack) Fraiser, and grandchild, Timothy Roseberry Jr. Dorsey is survived by his loyal bulldog \\Rock\\; children, Brad Rose, Brenda Rose and Lisa Rose; grandchildren, Abraham (Jenna) Kimmell, Trisha Rose, Jacob Kimmell, Jason Rose, and Gabriel Kimmell; and great grandson, Jayce Rose. Mr. Rose proudly served in the United States Navy, 1954-1958. He worked for the US Postal Service, 1958-1959, and, then, General Motors Corp.,1959-1990. He enjoyed his home on the Flint River. Dorsey enjoyed spending time with family and friends, collecting antique firearms, and coins.
