Drusie Martin

Mrs. Drusie Frances Martin passed away early on Sunday, August 21, 2016, at Memorial Manor in Bainbridge, Georgia. Services for Mrs. Martin will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Attapulgus Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 10:00. Drusie Frances Putnal Martin was born August 3, 1927 in Carrabelle, Florida. Her parents, Claib M. Putnal and Alice Sarvis Putnal, have preceded her in death. Drusie was the last surviving of her 7 siblings. She married the love of her life, John Martin, who passed away May 2002. Mrs. Martin was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She also enjoyed being a member of the Attapulgus Sunshiners. A housewife dedicated to her family, she enjoyed sewing and cooking. Drusie Martin will be sorely missed by her many friends and family. Mrs. Martin is survived by her children, John (Marion) Martin and wife, Meredith of Attapulgus, Georgia, Harry Martin and wife, Judy of Warwick, Georgia, and Frances (Marie) Tobin and husband, Paul of Daleville, Alabama.
