Eager Hobson Ingram, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the age of 77 due to complications after a short illness at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Mr. Ingram was born September 28, 1935 in Seminole County to the late Irie and Lila Ingram. Educated at the Brinson School, he briefly served in the Marine Air Reserve before enlisting in the United States Air Force, serving honorably for 20 years and being given the Meritorious Service Medal and Air Force Commendation Medal. He had been stationed twice in the Philippines and briefly in Greenland. He returned to Bainbridge, GA after retiring from the United States Air Force in 1975. He had been a manager of Port City Lanes, and with his brother and nephews ran IMI Construction in the 1990's. He enjoyed fishing on Lake Seminole and Spring Creek in his later years. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Dewitt Ingram and Malcom Ingram. He is survived by a son, Robert Ingram of Tallahassee, FL; a sister, Linda Ingram Fowler and her husband, Jimmy, of Bainbridge, GA; a step-son, Alexander Estenzo of Marysville, CA; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. No services are planned at this time.
