E.C. "Butch" King, Jr., 60, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2008 at his residence. The memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Danny Shepard officiating. Mr. King was born May 6, 1948 in Decatur County, GA, the son of E.C. King and Linnie Sue Stewart King. He was a painter and of the Protestant faith. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy King. Survivors include his daughter, Mary King Myers of Bainbridge, GA, two sons, E.C. "Toby" King, III and his wife Heather of Donalsonville, GA and James Kennedy of Cairo, GA; four sisters, Jackie Donalson of Bainbridge, GA, Judy Baggett of Cairo, GA, Sandra Hughes of Roanoke, AL and Pat King of Thomasville, GA; seven grandchildren, Chasity, Michael, Lance, Lindsey, Sadie, Nick and Dylan; and his former wife, Paula White King of Bainbridge, GA.
