Ecliseria Velazquez-Hernandez, 75, of Brinson, GA, formerly of Palmetto, FL, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017.A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will be held at a later date in Mexico.Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com.Ecliseria Velazquez was born April 14, 1942 in Mexico, the daughter of Amado Velazquez and Angela Guerrero. She married Antonio Hernandez in 1977. She moved to Southwest Georgia ten years ago making her home in Brinson.Family was very important to Ecliseria. She spent her days working on the farm helping provide for her family. She was an outstanding cook. Even after a long day at work, Ecliseria made sure she prepared a full meal. Her love for family extended to those she worked with daily.Survivors include her husband, Antonio Hernandez; and her son, Antonio Hernandez, Jr. of Bainbridge. Ecliseria was preceded in death by her parents.
