Eddie Wayne Robinson, 69, of Eldorendo, GA, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Kohl officiating. Interment will follow at Robinson Cemetery in Donalsonville with Rudy Robinson, Ed Weatherwax, Jason Lomineck, Faron Young, Dale Robinson, Steven McDonald, and Sammy Robinson serving as active pallbearers.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com.Eddie Wayne Robinson was born September 4, 1946 in Donalsonville, GA, the son of Otho Benton Robinson and Bunice Marie Clarke Robinson. He worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator. Eddie was of Baptist faith.Eddie was an outdoorsman enjoying everything from gardening and planting trees to hunting and fishing. He even played a little golf. He loved good food and cooked every chance he got. Eddie was a collector; his favorite collection included miniature cannons. Survivors include his daughter, Lori Villa and her husband, Brook, of Bloomingdale, NJ; his siblings, Douglas Robinson of Hiram, GA, Kathie Lomineck of Bainbridge, GA, and Jimmy Robinson of Donalsonville, GA; and his grandchildren, Catherine, Carey and Vaugan Villa. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Anna Rosa Stoler, Myrtle Young, Gene Robinson, Curtis Robinson, Joseph Robinson, Jim Tom Robinson, and Ronnie Robinson.
