Edmund Burbridge

Mr. Edmund Carl Burbridge, age 79, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015, at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, Georgia. A private service will be held later. Edmund Carl Burbridge was born June 12, 1935 in Foxborough, Massachusetts, to William Burbridge and Dorothy O'Hare Burbridge. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Carl was a gifted electrician. He valued doing the job right, the first time. Carl Burbridge is survived by his wife of 44 years, Hazel Burbridge of Whigham, Georgia; sister, Charlotte Hagemann of New Jersey; step-children, Maurica Rykard of Whigham, Glenn Rykard and wife, Mary of Cairo, Georgia, Perry Rykard of Whigham, and Maurice Rykard and wife, Connie of Cairo; special nephew, Lloyd Cook, Jr. and wife, Lisa of Whigham; and 6 step-grandchildren.
