Edward Haire

Edward Haire, 80, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery with Keith Haire, Tyler Inlow, Eric Inlow, Mark Eakin, Jerry Brewer, Devin Ross, and J.J. Glenn serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Memorial donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 432 East Shotwell Street Bainbridge, GA 39819. Edward was born September 16, 1934 in Miller County, GA, the son of Barney M. Haire and Betty C. Haire. He enjoyed fishing and for over 40 years sang gospel music with Southern Gospel Singers and the Tone Masters Quartet. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Survivors include Betty C. Haire, mother of his children: sons, Ed "Rusty" Haire, Joey Haire and his wife Peresia, and Greg Haire and his wife Peggy; daughters, Ginger Haire Inlow and Sissy Haire French; and his siblings, Mildred Haire and Betty Jo Groah. He was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Myrtice Haire; his siblings, Christine Powell, Henry Haire, Gertude Austin and Robert Haire.
