Elanor Nussbaum

Elanor Wilkes Nussbaum, 93, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2009 at her residence. The graveside funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Oak City Cemetery with Rev. Stephen L. Webb officiating. Mrs. Nussbaum was born January 23, 1916 in Meigs, GA, the daughter of Leo and Ruth Wilkes. She graduated from high school in Meigs and was a graduate of Valdosta State College. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Ernestine Clarke Circle and The Book Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard W. Nussbaum. Survivors include Hilda Nussbaum Hines, Lanny Nicholson, Wilkes Nicholson, Anne Williams Waller, and other relatives.
